Sound board restoration is a must on vintage amplifiers whether it be factory Delco radio or aftermarket amplifier, the shelf life of many electric parts related to amplification only 5 years, unfortunately after this time has past capacitors loose their ability charge and typically start leak electrolytic as well. This leakage can then damage circuit boards and other components attached to the board. You can see where this leads.
