The radio was cleaned inside and out, adjusted lubed. This radio will also fit and work perfectly into many other Gm cars trucks from throughout the 1980as well. The seek feature allows radio to pick next best received station without turning knob.

The radio has been bench-tested and it works very well by picking up many stations on both FM am frequencies. The 5-band equalizer also work 100 correctly. When the stereo receives a FM broadcast, indicator lights up brightly.

The four original illumination light bulbs are also still working perfectly, and up entire face plate brightly evenly in a soft white color. This stereo is the factory Cadillac only symphony sound model which has a much better overall than any of systems Gm being offered at time. Please excuse all the dust particles on unit in photos. The loudness control also works perfectly and gives radio an extra boost in sound when used with 5-band equalizer.

All 5 bands slide easily with no outside noise or distortion, and has strong sound throughout. I had the clock hooked up for a couple of hours, and it kept perfect time. Cassette player also has a search function which works excellent. The correct Cadillac wreath knobs are included and also in great condition you can easily switch your old ones out if have other non-embellished style.

The capstans and head were cleaned, speed of tape was correctly adjusted. The led digital readout is in excellent working condition, with no parts of characters numerals are burned out or dull, and have a very nice yellow color. Although provides only a 30-day warranty, I will personally provide 6-month warranty on this radio. The scan indicator will light up for whenever stereo is in mode.

The two original belts were replaced to give you years of future usage. The digital display lens cover is clear with only most minimal marks. The tape inserts and ejects nicely. Cosmetically the stereo is in superior condition all of chrome buttons have great finish with no pitting, peeling, or missing chrome, and very bright.

The tape door is also in super condition with no scratches or wear. The radio was not abused at all, but very dusty from sitting before being disassembled, repaired and worked on-under all that dust fine-looking unit. All digital display numerals also work 100 as shown being bench-tested in the last photos it is not perfect like a new one would be, but works flawlessly and very clean cosmetically. The push buttons also work very well and push in easily, for storing recalling set stations.

It picks up many stations on both the FM am frequencies. If you are unhappy for any reason, I will happily accept a return. The fast forward and reverse switches also works very well, with a quick quiet motion. This allows you to fine tune the sound your satisfaction.

All of the is crisp and clear looks great. This is a very nice factory original digital err am FM stereo radio with 5-band equalizer, auto-reverse cassette tape player search function, stereo, and clock that was taken out of 1986 devilled. This radio is in 100 working condition and despite having a few marks on the face-plate, it also very clean outside.

The auto reverse feature also works correctly, with pushing in top knob automatically plays other side of tape will switch sides when it is finished playing on one. The mounting brackets can be switched out with from your existing factory radio and it will mount correctly just like. The stereo is also equipped with a digital clock that displays when key turned on and radio off, or after five seconds tuning in station.

The correct tape led light comes on for whichever direction cassette is playing. I did not notice the little layer of dust until after photos were uploaded, but can assure you unit face plate is very nice.

The stereo also has seek scan features built in. The cassette tape player also works perfectly and tapes play very clear with no sound distortions or garble. This radio was Gm PRO option code ux1 and an expensive the scan feature will do it automatically, staying on each station for five seconds before moving to next.
