I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to test it. Possibly never used and just a little dirty from being in storage, or maybe repackaged. The box certainly has some damage, but the Styrofoam holders kept unit pretty safe.

Either way, I'll be happy to do a return if it ends up not working.
