AM/FM switch cleaned. Radio tuning dial clutch pad cleaned and functional. The tape detente force was adjusted per the manual. All FM and AM preset buttons functional.

Unfortunately, someone cut the power and speaker plugs off this unit but I installed 2 new factory that will work on your vehicle side. Ford Motorola 8 Track AM/FM Stereo Radio 1982, REPAIRED AND TESTED, E2AF 19A168 AD, This is a fantastic condition 1982 Ford stereo. This model was installed in 1982 Ford vehicles that used the classic black bezel design. Tape head cleaned and demagnetized.

Capstan removed and cleaned. Tape/Radio switch removed and cleaned. Radio station indicator painted with two coats high performance fluorescent orange paint. The model number stamp on the top of radio as shown in photos indicates this is a 1982 E2AF-19A168-AD 8 Track and was confirmed by FORD Radio Service Manual.

Station preset push button mechanism was removed/disassembled and cleaned oiled. Bezel removed and cleaned.
