I cleaned the tape heads and cassettes play back good. There were 2 different types of single din radios in Ford vehicles during this time, standard sound and premium. These were found in certain Ford Lincoln mercury vehicles between the years of display color is green. I tested this one thoroughly and it works great.

This is a good match for Thunderbird's and Cougars without the premium sound option. It loads, plays and ejects cassettes without any issues.
