All back lights work as they should. There were 2 different types of single din radios in Ford vehicles during this time, standard sound and premium. The display color is green.
You can also contact me and send pictures of the radio connectors in your vehicle i'll try to help. It does have a clock built in. These were found in certain Ford Lincoln mercury vehicles between the years of this was removed from a 1993 Explorer equipped with premium sound. It also matches the Rangers that had premium sound.

The connectors shown in last picture are not included, they for reference only. The face is original and shows normal wear tear. I tested this radio and all functions work great. The tape heads were cleaned and cassettes play back good.
